2017 Annual General Meeting (AGM)

Today at Marconi Clay Target Club, the Annual General Meeting (AGM) for 2017 was held in the Clubhouse. It was conducted before an admirable 55 member strong audience.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for your attendance at the AGM. A significant number of apologies for being unable to attend due to many factors were received by the club, and I thank you all for taking the time to make the reasons for your absence known to the club.

Your new committee has been elected by its members and appointed for 2017. We are now a committee of 19 members including the presidential role.

For the first time in club history, I am happy to announce we have appointed a sub-committee dedicated to our Skeeters, their role will be to assist me in my deliberations over the Skeeting needs of our club as those needs arise. I have every faith our newly appointed committee and sub-committee will as always bring an unprecedented level of service and commitment to our members.

Those of you who were unable to attend the AGM and have an agenda item you wish to raise for consideration by your committee, you all know my door is open so please don’t hesitate to make your wishes known.

Lastly can I just make mention that it is my great honor to once again take the reins as your club president. I accept this great honor again and I am wholly committed to you all.
